You go girl!! It is awesome that you have dedicated yourself to change and great too that you have brought people in to be a support group!
My "New Years Resolution" this year was to "be better". Each month I pick something to improve. In February Cricket and I both decided to improve our diets. Having him do it with me really helps -- no junk food in the house! Don't know if you can get away with that with E and A around, but if you can -- do! It won't kill Robin ;) Just wait until you see your brother again -- he is cutting an awesome profile! (*droooooool*).
But my goal was to "be better" -- not "be perfect". That attitude has really helped it become easy. If I slip up and eat 4 of your mother's yummy rolls -- so be it! I just do better the next time. I won't lose the weight as fast, but I am much more likely to stick it out!
May's "be better" is to exercise better (more). Again, I am not going for perfect, but I am trying to make better choices: break a sweat at least 3 times a week, go out and play with that niece you like to spoil at least once a day, actually park at the far end of the parking lot, carry your nephew instead of pushing him, etc.
Unfortunately, April's "be better" theme was "be better at managing the budget" -- so all of this has to be done on a tight budget. I have some stuff that is working if you want some suggestions for dieting and exercising on little money!
Good for you! Let's plan on going shopping together for clothes in the fall!
